License Agreement

By installing the software, you are agreeing to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

This Agreement constitutes the complete agreement between you and GATE SEVEN. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, do not attempt to install the software. Promptly return the  disk package and any other materials that are part of this GATE SEVEN Product together with your proof of payment within 10 days to the place where you obtained it for full refund.

1.       License Grant. In consideration of payment of the license fee, which is part of the price you paid for this GATE SEVEN Product, GATE SEVEN COMPUTERS LTD, as licenser, grants to you, the LICENSEE, a non-exclusive right to use and display this copy of the GATE SEVEN product as follows :

You may use and display GATE SEVEN standalone products on a single computer at any one time.

You may use and display GATE SEVEN products which are described as "Network Versions" on up to five times as many computers as you have network licenses, provided you ensure that no more than the licensed number of terminals are used at any one time.

You may embed font data in documents provided this is done in such a way that the recipient is not able to access the font data other than for the purposes of display and printing. You may not provide copies of fonts to third parties for any purpose whatsoever.

1.       Ownership. As the LICENSEE, you own the magnetic or other physical media on which the GATE SEVEN product is originally or subsequently recorded or fixed, but GATE SEVEN retains title to and ownership in the software program of the GATE SEVEN product recorded on the original disk copy and all subsequent copies of the GATE SEVEN product, regardless of the form or media in or on which the original and other copies may exist. This license is not a sale of the original software program of the GATE SEVEN Product or any portion or copy of it.

2.       Copy  Restrictions. The GATE SEVEN Product and the accompanying materials are copyrighted and contain proprietary information and trade secrets of GATE SEVEN . Unauthorised copying of the GATE SEVEN product even if modified, merged, or included with other software, or of the written materials, is expressly forbidden. You may be held legally responsible for any infringement of GATE SEVEN?s intellectual property rights that is caused or encouraged by your failure to abide by the terms of this Agreement .  You may make copies of the GATE SEVEN Product solely for back up purposes provided the copyright notice is reproduced in its entirety on the backup copy.

3.       Permitted Uses. This GATE SEVEN  product, user guide and documentation is licensed to you, the LICENSEE, and may not be transferred to any third party for any length of time without the prior written consent of GATE SEVEN. You may not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the GATE SEVEN product. Written materials provided to you  may not be modified, adapted, translated or used to create derivative works without the prior written consent of GATE SEVEN.

4.       Termination.  This Agreement is effective until terminated. This Agreement will terminate automatically without notice from GATE SEVEN if you fail to comply with any provision contained herein. Upon Termination, you shall destroy the GATE SEVEN product, and all copies of associated written materials, including modified copies, if any.

5.       Miscellaneous. This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
